Undiscovered Sun

David Thornton 2000

Here I stand on the battlefield

No place to hide away

And the smoke it plays

And the hero he fades

And the heroine she greys

To each and every man his own

To each and every man his home

To each and every one

Underneath the rays of an Undiscovered sun

Here I stand on the open road

The distance winds away

I stand alone face to face

To each and every man his own

To each and every man his home

To each and every one

Underneath the rays of an Undiscovered Sun

No more, how far?

I cant see through rays of black. No more, how far? I cant see…..

*Written originally about suffering extreme migraine on a daily basis, this song has developed into a cry for help for those who suffer epilepsy. Specifically epilepsy.  However it is also applicable to many other illnesses and conditions that can leave one down, helpless, without hope.  There are many people out there who need an unattainable cure.  Some things we havent found yet, but hopefully one day soon…

With hope and care and awareness, we can find that

Undiscovered Sun and it will shine down with healing rays…
