I wish…. I wish someone had told me when my daughter was first diagnosed with a rare and very severe form of epilepsy more than twelve years ago, not to put me life on hold, while seeking a ‘miracle cure’. If I had just been able to accept the diagnosis and move on with our life as a family, I would still have a good marriage, and been able to give my other children the time and energy they needed. Now it is too late. Mother of a child with an extremely rare and severe type of epilepsy |
